A Poem for the New Year
This poem was written back in 2014 but the sentiments are pretty much the same. The dog is older, I went out for New Year Celebrations this year and there isn't any snow snow - yet. I still consciously navigated that space between the ‘then’ and the ‘next’ by taking time to truly be grateful for that past - the foundation of the future.
